Laura Chenault‘s, Nice Girls Don’t Yell will be on view March 29th & May 3rd, 2024. Laura has been experimenting with type, layering, and installation possibilities at WNY Book Arts. She is making flat prints and artist books utilizing the etching press, letterpress, and silkscreen studio. One series of prints explores expectations that society puts on women and women’s bodies. Laura will also be hosting a series of bookmaking workshops in conjunction with her exhibition. Closing Reception for Nice Girls Don’t Yell will be Friday, May 3rd, 2024, 5-8pm.
